Maternity Photos and a Pregnancy Update!

Hey ya'll! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments after last week's basement reveal post

It made the 8 months of hard work totally worthwhile and gave me a much needed boost.

I don't have the upstairs ready to share with you just yet (fingers crossed for next week) and the nursery won't be ready for a few more weeks (fingers crossed I get it done before she gets here...OMG), so instead I thought I would share some maternity photos I just had done.

As many of you know, this pregnancy has been really hard on me, filled with all day morning sickness and preterm labor scares. As I write this, I'm currently halfway through week 33 and I'm feeling so much better (both mentally and physically). My second trimester was absolutely terrifying, so to be in my third trimester and feeling good is something I don't take for granted even for a second.
I kinda wake up every morning and say 'Yay! I feel like a gross sweaty manatee, but I'm so happy to still be pregnant!'.

So, as of now, everything is going well, and I'm hopeful that I will make it to term or at least pretty close. I've been able to get off my couch and do things a normal pregnant lady would do, and let me tell you...normal feels SO good. I've been able to spend time with friends (and my brother who has been in town for two weeks...makes me so happy), and as a little treat to myself, I had some maternity photos taken last week.
Celebrating the belly, if you will.

If you live in the Knoxville area, I highly recommend my friend Lori Hensley. She does beautiful work and I know I'll treasure these forever.

Here are just a few of my favorites.

That's all for today, ya'll!
Thanks so much for being here! :)
